Hi there I hope someone can help me with fixing this issiue

Symptoms

My Alienware x15 r2 stopped working, which is around 2years old.
power light and keyboard turns on, power lights give 2red and 3 blue lights,
screen stays black

From dell error codes it says this is error
2,3No memory or Random-Access Memory (RAM) detected

after disassembling and removing battery removing any electricity left with power button on without psu connected, the same symptoms.

After removing the motherboard and disconnecting all cables , only psu kabel and display cable connected , it powered on and showed bios recovery screen

But the thing is, since USB and keyboard wasn't connected I couldn't perform the reset. So after shutting down the system and reconnecting keyboard cable the system stay black screen again, then I removed all cables again and only display plus psu connected as before, the screen is still black and not comming into bios recovery no matter how many times I try.

I Couldn't find any schematics for the board to try diagnose it any further,

I was thinking of trying to do bios reprogram with my programming tool but I noticed there are around 3-4 winbound chips and I am not certain which one is actually the main bios one or if I could find a working dump for this system

the motherboard is LA-L611p
With i7

Any help is truly appreciated

ONLY BIOS YOU NEED TO PROGRAM IN THE PIC
UC2
25X256
Thank you so much, I will buy the dump image from you ofcourse, I just wonder if I will be able to program it with the tl866a programmer, cause I couldn't find the chip id in the mini pro programmer. If it's not possible with 866a can u recommend me which programmer I should order for this job?

I know bro, but do u know if I can program it with tl866a or is it too old for this chip, I can't find the chip in program selection
CHECK THE BIOS CHIP PIN NUM 8
IF THE VOLTAGE 3V YOU CAN PROGRAM IT WITH YOUR MINIPRO
IF 1.8V YOU NEED AN ADAPTER FOR YOUR MINIPRO
THE NUMBER OF THE CHIP IS NOT IMPORTANT AS LONG AS THE VOLT IS SUPPORT BY THE PROGRAMMER OR WITH ADAPTER , SO YOU CAN CHOOSE ANY CHIP WITH SAME SIZE 256

After connecting to the tl866 programmer I can get the chip id, but reading chip is not working with id check box on, only after disabling check box can I read it, after saving the dump file it gives only around 1 mb

USB-C Line Tracer and Tail Plug Detector – Laptop Dock Tester Tool

This compact USB‑C tester plugs directly into a port to probe every signal line, using the internal ESD protection diodes of connected TYPE-C ICs OR PD CONTROLLER. You can directly check the USB-C Port and all lines connecting to the Type-C chip directly or PD chip , and also know what protocol is activated on this input.
The tester can check all these pins

Power & Configuration
CC1, CC2 (A5, B5): Configuration Channel – determines plug orientation, establishes host/device role, negotiates power level, and signals alternate modes.
Data PINS
D+, D- (A6, A7, B6, B7): USB 2.0 differential pairs – always connected regardless of plug orientation.
TX/RX pairs (A2/A3/A10/A11 and B2/B3/B10/B11): SuperSpeed signals for:
USB 3.1 Gen 1/2
Thunderbolt 3/4
DisplayPort (via Alt Mode)
These lines are flipped depending on plug orientation.
Sideband / Auxiliary
SBU1, SBU2 (A8, B8):
DisplayPort Alt Mode (AUX channel)
Analog audio (e.g., headphone dongles)
USB Debug Accessory Mode (UART)

No HS, SBU, or CC → No CC negotiation; no PD connection .
HS detected, SBU absent → Likely USB‑3.x only.
HS & SBU detected → Indicates support for DP/Thunderbolt or USB‑3.x with SBU-based features.
SBU only → Debug or audio path present, but no USB‑3.x.

MPS PMBUS PASSWORD PROTECTION

MPS PMBUS PASSWORD PROTECTION
1000068222.jpg
Do processor circuit ICs (VRM) really have passwords?
Do you remember the video where I explained how to program modern processor circuit ICs using a PMBUS programmer? I mentioned at the time that in some cases, we would need the schematic, because even though there are many dump files available now, for some models it’s not possible to backup the file from another board because the ic is protected.

This is because some modern processor VRM ICs support a feature called PMBUS Protect. This feature allows the manufacturer to set a password to protect the IC. It provides three levels of protection:
  1. Protection from reading the registers
  2. Protection from writing to the registers
  3. Protection from both reading and writing to the registers
For the first and third types, it's not possible to take a backup from the IC—even if you have a working board with the same model. In this case, you’ll need the schematic to manually build a configuration that suits the processor circuit and its components.

As for the second type, you can still take a backup and write it to a new or used VRM IC later without any issues.

Are there any ways to break this protection? No.

Are there any workarounds to bypass it? No.
